Programs
On the second Thursday of every month the SWFLHS holds a meeting with a guest speaker on topics relevant to the Southwest Florida area. The meeting starts at 7pm with social/refreshment gathering starting at 6:45pm. Meetings are held at the Collaboratory in downtown Fort Myers at 2031 Jackson St. (This is the former location of Southwest Florida Museum of History.)
May’s event will likely be our last until September, when we resume monthly speakers after the summer hiatus.

Cracker Dinner
The highlight of the year and the main fund raiser for the SWFLHS is the annual Cracker Dinner event. The dinner highlights local history, Cracker cooking, and frequently features a distinguished guest speaker after the dinner. There are also raffles and silent auctions during the evening to help raise money for the Society.
