Historic Exhibits in the Lobby

Each month the SWFLHS has a featured historical display in the entrance lobby to the Society. These displays may feature a local pioneering family, business or legal records. It is open to the public at no charge during our hours of operation.

Current Exhibit

“Sons of Confederate Veterans Iron Cross Ceremony” Exhibit is now at the SWFLHS for the months of June and July. The exhibit displays information on the Iron Cross Ceremony, photos from the recent ceremony held at the Frierson/Hendry Cemetery in Fort Myers, and storyboards on some of the members receiving the Iron Cross.

The SWFLHS is open on Wednesdays from 9 to 12 and from 4 to 7, and on Saturdays from 9 to 12. There is no fee to see the exhibit.
